Ross Construction., 5901 Hwy 377 S, Tishomingo, Oklahoma, 73460, has submitted a permit application to the Oklahoma Department of Mines (ODM) to mine Granite through the surface mining method on portions of the following parcels of land:

Section 16, Township 2 South, Range 6 East, Johnston, Oklahoma.

The total permit area contains 2 acres.  The permit site is located approximately 4 miles north of Tishomingo, OK and 1 mile west on Highland Ln. 

A copy of this complete permit application is available for public inspection on ODM’s website  HYPERLINK “https://mines.ok.gov” https://mines.ok.gov and at the Johnston County Clerk Office at 403 West Main St., Room 101, Tishomingo, OK. Interested parties without access to the internet may obtain a copy of the application by contacting ODM at 405-427-3859.  

Any landowner or resident of any occupied dwelling, any public entity or public agency, or any party that may be adversely affected has the right to submit comments or object to the issuance of the permit in writing.  An informal conference will be provided if requested.  Any objections or requests for an informal conference on this application must be in writing and received no later than fourteen (14) days after the final publication of this notice to the

It appearing to the satisfaction of the court from the verified Petition of NANCY TAYLOR, Personal Representative of the estate of JOHNNY TAYLOR a/k/a JOHNNY LEE TAYLOR, deceased, on file herein, that it is to the best interests of the estate to sell the real property, belonging to said estate and described in said petition, said real property being more particularly described as follows, to-wit:

A part of the NW/4 of Section 3, Township 4 South, Range 6 East, Johnston County Oklahoma. 

Commencing at the NW corner of the NW/4 of Section 3, Township 4 South, Range 6 East, Indian Meridian; Thence North 90̊00’00” East, a distance of 715.00 feet to the Point of Beginning; Thence continuing Easterly along said line, a distance of 100 feet; Thence South 0̊00’00” East, a distance of 125.00 feet; Thence North 90̊00’00” West, a distance of 100.00 feet; Thence North 0̊00’00” East, a distance of 125.00 feet to the point of beginning; said described tract containing 0.287 acres, more or less.

for the reason that there are insufficient funds in the estate to pay costs of  administration fees, Court costs, Attorney fees and other debts.

Therefore, it is ordered by the court that all persons interested in the estate of the said  JOHNNY TAYLOR a/k/a JOHNNY LEE TAYLOR, deceased, appear before the court of the county of Johnston, State of Oklahoma, at the District Courtroom thereof, on the 28th day of January, 2026, at 3:30 o’clock P.M. of said day, then and there to show cause, if any they have, why said order, as prayed for in said petition should not be granted to said Personal Representative to sell said real property of said deceased, at either public or private sale, for the reasons and purposes mentioned in said petition, as she shall judge to be for the best interest of said estate and of all parties interested therein.

It is the further order of the Court that copies of this order be mailed to all heirs, legatees, devisees, or guardians thereof, with postage thereon prepaid, at their last known addresses; and that a copy of this order to show cause be published once in some newspaper published in this county, the first publication of which notice shall not be less than ten days before the time fixed for said hearing.
