PROJECT

All interested persons are hereby given notice that INCA Community Services, Inc., doing business as JAMM Transit, is seeking financial assistance from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, for the purpose of operating a rural public transportation project. 

The following grant opportunity is currently being applied for: Section 5311 Formula Grants for Rural Areas Program FY 2027.

Grant funds will be used to administer and operate a public transportation project serving Johnston, Atoka, Marshall, and Murray Counties. 

If any person desires a public hearing to consider the social, economic, and/or environmental effects of the proposed project, they may submit a request in writing to INCA Community Services, Inc. P.O. Box 68, Tishomingo, Oklahoma 73460, by no later than Friday, April 20, 2026.

No action was taken on Formal Package for Humphrey Virtual Farms, LLC (HVF) a 200 Acre Sustainable Development for Veterans, Wounded Warriors and Former Foster Youth on Slab Road in Johnston County.  Mr. Humphrey spoke on his proposed development and had asked the Commissioners to sign a letter support.  Wanda Gray, INCA had asked questions concerning the local Veterans Assoc and if they had been made aware of this opportunity.  Humphrey states that he had only spoke to representatives at the State level.  Gray also spoke on DHS representation, the Homeless and how this would help our community and local veterans.  Niblett states that this is not necessarily a county project or anything that would include action from the Commissioners.  Cribbs states that he would be in agreeance with the letter of support if the Asst District Attorney approved it.  Blevins states that if he will get the board a letter of support that he will see that ADA Smith gets it for review.  Thompson asked if Marshall County was in agreeance with his project and why was he not proceeding with them.  Humphrey’s states that there was no land available in Marshall County that was suitable for his project.  Cribbs states that they would request a letter from HVF and it will be taken to ADA Smith for approval before it can be put back on the agenda for a vote of the board.  

Cribbs moved to approve the FY 26-27 TASC (Total Assessment Solution Corporation) FY 26-27 Assessment Agreement for Assessor’s Office – $20,000.00, second Blevins, vote aye Blevins, Cribbs and Niblett.
