PROPOSALS:
Construction Services for City-owned Property Located at 601 W Main Street.
The City of Tishomingo (City) invites the submittal of responses to this Request for Proposals (RFP) from experienced contractors to provide construction services for City-owned property at 601 W Main Street. The contractor will provide exterior restoration, exterior painting, interior ceiling restoration, dry wall patching, and interior painting.
Each bidder must provide a detailed specification sheet with price in a sealed bid to City Manager, Bryce Jones, located at 1130 E Main Street, Tishomingo, Oklahoma 73460 by December 12th, 2025, by 10:00 AM (local time).
On Friday, December 5th, at 1:00-2:00 PM (local time), the property and assessment of work will be shown to all contractors interested in the job to inspect. The City reserves the right to reject all bids and waive informalities.

Notice is hereby given to all persona interested in the estate of Mary June Smith, Deceased, that on November 7, 2025, Kristy Michele Cox, who may be contacted through counsel at the address listed below, filed a Petition for Summary Administration in the District Court of Johnston County, State of Oklahoma, praying for Letters of Special Administration. Said Petition further prays that the heirs-at-law of said Decedent be determined; that the final accounting be approved; that the property of the Decedent subject to the jurisdiction of this Court be distributed; and that the Special Administrator be discharged, and for other relief prayed for in said Petition, which Petition may refer to other particulars.

Notice is hereby given that on the 20th day of January, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. in the Courtroom of the Judge to whom this cause is assigned on said date, in the County Courthouse for Johnston County, Oklahoma has been appointed as the time and place for hearing said Petition, and considering all relief prayed for in the Petition presented to the Court on said date. All persons interested may appear.
Any person receiving this notice or any interested party may file objections to the Petition at or before the final hearing. All objections to the Petition and/or any relief requested must be made in writing, with such objection to be filed herein, with a copy being provided to the Petitioner and the attorney for the same, and if an objection is not made within the allowed time, all persons will be deemed to have waived any objection to the Petition and the relief prayed for. If an objection is filed on or before the hearing date, on the hearing date, the Court will determine whether summary proceedings are appropriate, and, if so, whether the Estate will be distributed and to whom the Estate will be distributed.
The Special Administrator will present final accounting at the hearing date set forth above, and an Order will not be entered until at least 5 days after the final hearing date.

Mark Canaday – Dist #1 states that the Annex should be getting bricked with drywall should be done and will be getting texture next week. The EOC Training Center project, the plumbers done. Jason Bryant – EOC states that we are in a moderate drought and spoke with the Fire Chiefs and they request no burn ban. Hopefully there will be rain this week, he has been monitoring Pennington Creek and Blue River. It seems that the measurement gage is not working properly and there is a safety meeting tomorrow.
