John A. Small is the Managing Editor and (with Publishers Tom and Mary Lokey) co-founder of the Johnston County Sentinel, a weekly newspaper headquartered in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. He came to Tishomingo (his mother’s birthplace) in 1991 and spent the next three and a half years as reporter and columnist for the Johnston County Capital-Democrat.
